Legal Advice & Representation
Legal Services provides legal advice and representation on a wide range of matters. These include, but are not limited to:
- Leases and property work
- Memorandum of Understanding
- Native Title issues
- Advice on a wide range of issues (e.g defamation, duty of care, public liability etc)
- Industrial relations including Deeds of Settlement
- Legal advice on Copyright issues
- Intellectual Property advice, including trademarks, registration of business names, etc
- Matters involving State and Federal Policy Services, search warrants, subpoenas, etc
- Advice on the Curtin University of Technology Act 1966, University powers, etc
- Offshore Programs
- Representation and advice on all litigation involving the University.
